Our little Dutch paper Boats and Angels have arrived!

I had lots of fun making a paper boat garland which is now hanging in the shop. The Angels are super cute and we have sold lots already, they have only been in the shop for a few hours and I’m starting to think we should have ordered more.
Perfect for Christmas presents or just for decoration, get creative and see what you can do with these little paper craft cuties.X

I am in love with the work of UK based artist Jennifer Collier. I even contacted her and she sent me a catalogue of her current pieces as I was looking to display some of her work in the shop but it’s just so fragile to come all the way to Australia.
We can all be inspired and admire her work from afar.X

I just love the colours in this gorgeous image I found on Black*Eiffel. If I was a fairy princess going to a ball this would be my magical dressing room.

We have some great new stock at the moment and I had lots of fun restyling the shop and adding all the new bits and pieces.
My favorites are the old croquet field numbers. The metal ones are all chipped and lovely and the wooden ones are a little scuffed so I sanded the edges smooth and now they are distressed to perfection.
They would look super cute on a desk or you could even use them as a house number.

My other favorite is the ceramic child’s head. He is the sweetest little prince.
I don’t think he will be in the shop for very long. A friend of mine was looking at him yesterday, imagining him perched on a mantle or arranged on top of a bedside table.
I have him set as a still life on top of some old books, scattered with dried rose petals and old copper coins.

The Nanni Mommi’s and Nanni Daddi’s are on their way to the shop.
These kooky little japanese paper toys come in A4 heavy printed card stock and all you need to do is cut, fold, glue and play!
