I have been busy making my own range of cards made from my enormous collection of vintage ephemera.

Prayer sheets, story books, photos, stamps, vintage cards, antique postcards…

Each card is handmade with 100% pure LOVE. I really enjoy making them, stitching and laying out the design, they are all unique and totally one of a kind.

Valentine’s day is not far away, and neither are the anti Valentine’s Day cards which are on their way from Canada.

They are hilarious, my fav is the “pop quiz valentines day card” I will post a pic and let you know as soon as they arrive!

We have a lovely selection of items in a natural colour palette available in store. I have spent the last few days slowly rearranging the shop and setting up my vignettes with lots of new stock.

I think this is my new favorite colour palette: Creams, Ivory, Chalky Blues, Hessian and Ochre.

I love the new range of limited edition bird prints! They are just beautiful. They are available in a New Zealand timber frame or as a signed and sealed print to pop into your own frame.

The whole table is set with a collection of sculls, twine, pencils, vintage tins and old framed prints. It has the feel of an artists work bench covered in their collection of inspirational found objects.

I have been painting in my (very small amount of) spare time. Lots of fun to set up a kitchen table top studio and make a big mess for a few days. The end result is a few pretty little pictures. I have sold two already! It’s very relaxing and I enjoy painting and incorporating all of my treasured paper bits. Antique wedding invitations, prayer books, postcards, receipts, ration booklets, paper doilies. I have boxes and boxes of vintage paper and it is really lovely creating works that are based on these tattered memories. I even have an old handwritten love letter that’s from the late 1800’s. SO romantic ♥
