Stefanie Bassett is the owner of Newspaper Taxi. A boutique vintage store in the heart of Newtown with a gorgeous collection of vintage pieces and handmade treasures.

The store is an ever changing arrangement with a seasonal theme. For the start of 2010 Stefanie has gathered a beautiful selection of “Gypsy Farmhouse” inspired pieces. The range includes Australian timber chopping boards, rustic depression era furniture, early Australian enamel, fruit blossom stationery, organic soap, Australian ceramics and rural farm relics.

To see out the warmer weather the store also boasts a colorful collection of “Fizzy Pop” Retro. Great for the family home, this range includes lots of bright patterned canisters and ceramics, enamelware, Japanese paper dolls, 1960’s table linen, Mexican tin decorations and Danish paper craft.
